User Guidelines

Welcome to the Collab Zone community. The mission of this online community is a place where industry experts, business owners and their employees can connect with their peers by sharing knowledge and answers to help them start, run & grow their business. We have written these guidelines to help make this an environment that is positive and secure.
 

THE GOOD

  • Get involved- Start a discussion or join in. We want to hear what you have to say. Comment on the forums, it's your community.
  • Ask a question - Are you looking for a specific answer to a question? Ask away, that's what we are here for.
  • Help - If you have knowledge or expertise do share it and answer questions. Your contributions are appreciated.
  • Reward - If someone provides an answer you like, feel free to reward them by giving them a kudos or marking it as an accepted answer.
  • Discuss - Feel free to discuss the answers in further detail.
  • Disclosure – If you are ANZ staff or a community partner, please identify yourself accordingly when you sign up. Please note ANZ employees must follow the Employee Guidelines on the community.
  • Disclose- Let people know if you have a connection to ANZ Bank or anything you are talking about.
  • Be respectful
    Respect people's time and attention by asking well-thought-out questions and sharing what you've learned so far in your experience or prior research. Respect people as individuals by keeping your tone positive and your comments constructive.
  • Be relevant
    Make sure your contributions are relevant to the mission of the community, to the specific discussion style and topic where you post. Please do not post duplicate messages in different areas of the community to avoid fragmenting discussion. If you have a new question, start a new thread rather than interrupting a conversation. Solicitations are rarely relevant. If you have something you want members to join, participate in, or buy, ask us first.
  • Please remember, this is user-generated content
    You'll find plenty of good advice here, but remember that your situation, configuration, or implementation may vary from that of the individual sharing a solution. Apply the same good judgment here that you would apply to information anywhere on the Internet.

THE NOT SO GOOD

  • Advertising- There are plenty of opportunities to promote your business, but the community is not the place to do it. Advertising on the community may result in the post being blocked or deleted with a warning issued to the user. Please refer to the Community Terms of Service for more information.
  • Responsibility - You are responsible for all your own posts within the community and posts should not be interpreted as professional advice.
  • Personal information- It is important to respect your own and the privacy of others by not revealing personal information - including account details and account numbers, credit card numbers, home addresses, telephone numbers and tax file numbers. Please refer to the Community Terms of Service for more information and for specifics on how ANZ deals with your personal information.
  • Protect privacy - yours and others'
    Don't share anything about yourself or your organization that you would not want to see on a road-side billboard. Share your business email address in a private message to a community member if solicited , but don't post personal information - your own or anyone else's - including contact information or any content that you receive in one-to-one communications without the author's consent.
  • Deception - Please do not intentionally deceive anyone within the community willingly or unwillingly.
  • Offensive language- We have a sensitive comment filter that is offended easily. Please refer to the Community Terms of Service under the heading “Conduct” for more information.

THE DOWNRIGHT UGLY

  • Trolling is not encouraged - Constructive comments are always welcome, but abusive behavior and personal attacks are not. If you see abuse, report it. If we see abuse, we'll delete it.
  • Posting as the community moderator or community manager – You must not pose as an administrator / moderator or community manager. Any posts of this nature will be removed as they are identified.
  • Illegal activity- Do not use our community for illegal activity of any kind.
  • Flouting community guidelines- We will permanently ban any users caught breaking these community guidelines.
  • Soliciting members- Do not solicit other members in any way. Please understand we reserve the right to manage and moderate the community as we see fit.
  • Don't post anything that would violate any contractual agreements (copyright, trade secret or otherwise) or nondisclosure agreements to which you are a party.

How does the community work?

This community provides a place for community members or participants to search for information, read and post about topics of interest, and learn from one another. You'll find boards where you can post questions and answers and collaborate with industry experts and mentors and learn from the wealth of experience from community partners. 

Guests (unregistered visitors) can browse or search the community for information. Registered members can post messages or comments, track discussions, and get e-mail notifications on new posting activity.

What is my role in the community?

You are essential to the community, even if all you ever do is read messages or articles that someone else has posted. Communities like this one have a place for all kinds of contributions: posting questions and sharing answers, or just searching for answers to your questions.

We encourage you visit often and participate. Come with your toughest questions. Chances are someone has an answer or can point you in the right direction. If you find an answer that works, let others know, and pass on your own tips and insights. You might just have the answer someone else has been looking for!

Please remember to thank community members who have helped you. You can show your appreciation by giving kudos to helpful posts, by accepting an answer that answers your question, or by posting thank-you replies.

What is my responsibility in the community?

We want the community to be appropriate, friendly, informative, and fun for everyone.

Be sure to read the Community Terms of Service and these community guidelines so that you know what to expect and what is expected of you when you're here.

Flag inappropriate content for review

If you recognize any violation of these guidelines, please notify us within the community by choosing "Report Inappropriate Content" from the message's Options menu and let us know why you feel the content is inappropriate.

The ANZ employee badges

You will notice that some community members have a badge that identifies them as ANZ  employees next to their names. Like you, they are members of the community and we encourage them to share their knowledge and opinions here.
